Tepehuano woman grinding corn to make tortillas in the remote village of Muralitos. This town is at the end of the road. From here paths run down into the San Tomas Canyon , the dividig line between Nayarit and Durango.

Here the traditional costume has themodern adaptation of the floral patterned blouse and apron. but maintains the cut and lace of the traditional tepehuano costume.
