I located the village after speaking to a teacher who lived in the town of Huautla, Hidalgo. he told me about a textile collective that is located in Chiconmel, Veracruz. To get here you pastor the town of Chalma of Veracruz. The road in was well maintained and the panoramoic views were great. After arriving in the town , I found a few women that were willing to pose for pictures. In fact I sa very few people there that day but was told that the collective sells in Hujutla Hidalgo. The costume was a cross stitched blouse with a white pleasted skirt. Chiconmel was recently paved ( 4/2006) and was in the process of modernization.
