The Sierra Zongalica is located in the State of Vera Cruz near the town of Orizaba. The population of indigenous people is large and over 90% speak Nahuatl, the language of the Aztecs.

The Sierra Zongalica is located in the State of Vera Cruz near the town of Orizaba. The population of indigenous people is large and over 90% speak Nahuatl, the language of the Aztecs.. Travel by car has improved greatly in my reliable Nissan Senta SE equiped for off road I could go almost anywhere. Many new roads have been built here and in the next few months it will be possible to make a loop starting in Tequila - Tehuepango - Mixtla - Zongalica and back to Tequila and Orizabe on brand new roads.
