Zoquiapan, Puebla is a municipal capital with many women still wearing traditional Nahua attire. The town’s elderly generation continues to wear the running stitch embroidered blouse, white skirt with pleats, hand woven belt and a lace quechquemitl. ©Robert Freund 2007 12/17/2007

View from town
In the town of Zoquiapan, I saw many women wearing traditional Nahua clothing. The younger generation have abandoned it except for festivals , but it is still very strong among the older generations.
