When the women arrived many had their rebozos tied in the form of a cape, on this page you can see an example of this. When they got ready to take their pictures they often would untie the rebozo and just drape it over their shoulders. These reboso seem smaller than those in the cooler region. The use of commercial sweaters is common here and all over indigenous Mexico. Here comes the amazing part... the ladies just kept coming and coming, when ever I thought “OK I can leave now”, yet another person would show up. This is so important because in this gallery we can see the extent of change and the evolution of style. No where is it clearer than the last picture where we can see the grandmothers and the young Nahua girl in the who is standing in the doorway in modern clothing.
