Nauzontla is a district capital and it has all but lost its textile tradition, a few hours in the town and the only person wearing embroidered blouses were the young girls that made the collection in the church. There was a woman and I got all excited however she turned out to be from another town. Without knowing for sure I imagine that there are some older women in their homes that still wear traditional textiles. The town was orderly and friendly.
