Chicuasencuatla is a community spread out along the slopes of one of the many mountains in the municipality of Xochitlan. We visited the town leader where we were able to buy a few blouses and get some great shots of the wife and daughter. The costume in this region varies greatly but is this gallery you can see the four principle types of blouse, beaded, crocheted, running stitch and the unique incorporation of beads with crocheted, that the Nahua women of the region use.

In the third photo are Alicia and Marco of New York City, who help with the cost of the trip and got to visit these amazing peoples.
