On this page there are a number of pictures related to the weaving of belts in Cuanajo. The cross stitched embroidered blouses are also fairly common. They vary greatly in quality. The town is orderly, clean, and friendly since on the weekend they have a large influx of furniture buyers and sightseers from Patzcuaro. The weaving collective has a presence in the market and they display the back strap loom weaving techniques daily. If you go there and for some reason don’t find a weaver, ask the other vendors and they will send someone to look for a weaver (most of the time).
