Huehuetla district is helping to promote a return to herbal medicines. These are some of the products that are available. They are manufactured here based on indigenous knowledge. The herbs are processed by the indigenous women and sold in the local market place. Extensive interviews with herbal healers and other with this ancestral knowledge went into the formulas of these remedies. ©Robert E. Freund 3/8/2007
