San Antonino is a traditional Zapotec town where many fine blouses and dresses were produced. While not the only town to produce the blouse is actually part traditional costume. / antodress6longblk

White on black was one of the more difficult to embroidered, due to the difficulty of seeing the hand drawn embroidery design. The design was usually done in grease pencil which produced a larger than normal embroidery pattern. ( see San Pedro Martir)
