Town leaders
After the first centurion was hung, a group of men lead a man boy around, he was a symbolic dog. They were looking under the skirts of all the women which caused a stir as they approached the women held there skirts down while other roared with laughter. They made the circle around the perimeter of the square looking for the missing centurion.

In the mean time inside the church the dearth of the fraises ( Jews) was occurring, while the Capitans prayed with the centurion the fraises (Jews) rolled on the floor of the church in death throws pounding the sables on the floor of the church. To me this was symbolic of the death of evil, the tormentor of Christ and the village.

Big fight erupt and
Follow the hanging of the second Centurion and the death of the farcies, the festival took a distinct Cora turn,. In the morning a man had been carving a cactus into a penis. At this time in the festival a man dressed as a woman was lead around by an other Cora man . He was force to defend him from the other men who tried to steal the woman away from him. In the action I saw him hit a number of other men very hard with the cactus penis. I never got a good explanation of what was happening. But they went completely around the square defending the “women” in the most ferocious fashion.

Almost immediately after this part of the festival and maybe as a continuation, The entire multitude gathered in the center of the square and tore apart the straw figures representing a man and a women and through the straw on the ground and set it on fire. This was the last symbolic act of the festival and to me was the culmination of the purging of evil, jealousy and bad feelings from the village.
