Atzacualoya, Chilapa Guerrero is a small Nahua village. They produce clay pots, comals for tortillas, giant caldrons for mole and other clay products used in the region. Angelina Gonzales Lazaro pictured here is showing how the goods are produced.

The comal is use to cook tortillas, I can tell you from personal experience that tortillas hand made and cooked on a clay comal are the best! It is difficult to eat the cardboard like store tortillas after you have had one.
Some of the other products in this village are large casseroles, water jugs, and decorative clay art.
