  nahua_tecapagco_21.JPG - The pole on the right is symbolic of the Voladores , the flying eagles. I do not believe this pole is still in use but it say a lot about the culture of the region. This area was inhabited by totonacans who were comquored by the Aztecs and racially are probably Totonacan with some Aztec but speak Nahuatl.
