The Mazahua slip or "enahua" is the central and most consistent part of the way the Mazahua women dress. Even in those villages were the traditional blouse and skirt have disappeared the slip remains constant. Here we have a number of actual “enahuas” used by the family. The traditional Mazahua patterns stand out when compared to the commercial designs used on many of the crafts. |
