Santa Maria Coapa is a right next to Tehuacan, there are many older generation women that still wear traditional indigenous dress. During a visit I saw 5 different traditional costumes being worn. The surrounding indigenous people do business here.

Above are two examples of women n traditional blouses. The first on the lower row is from the town of Santa Maria Coapa, the second woman is wearing a blouse from Chilac. The frames picture is of the "banda de viente" or wind instrument band from 1982.
