The Sierra Norte of Puebla is known for its rainy climate and this trip was no exception. We pasted through the town on Oct 1 and by Oct 5 the road back from Cuetzalan was completely washed away by Hurricane Stan . The third top photo is the blouse that is part of the collection. The town has a large square with a well kept church and courtyard. In the last photo notice the “voladores” pole, many towns in the region have their pole right in the central plaza. There is a lot of new designs in process now with the addition of beaded blouses to the crafts of the region.
