On my way to Ahuacatlan I noticed a new road which seemed very inviting and decided to take a shot at the town. It was the end of market day and the great majority of sellers had gone. However there were still a few women in traditional dress selling and walking around. It is clear that Amixtlan has lost its textile tradition except for the older people.
