San Mateo Tlacoxcalco is a small Nahua village where a collective of women is rescuing the traditional embroidery. There are two types of blouses worn in town by the elderly Nahua women. The first is a everyday blouse and a heavily embroidered blouse. Bob Freund 7/20/06

The pieces of material are what I concider the meat and potatos of textile documentation. They are samplers used to show different traditioal patterns.
