The road in to San Juan passes right next to the river. There are sections of the road that are still paved but most of the pavement is gone for the most part the road is rough. The combination of mountain and river valley makes this area picturesque. The climate here is hot and dry except during rainy season. Second from the right a close up of the embroidery and machine sticking around the neckline. At the Ramirez, other artisans bring unpainted pottery for them to finish. Santa is painting the next batch of crafts. The town is growing and there were some new building being built but most of the town is still waiting for improvements. |
