Tepexochil was the first town we stopped at and quickly found this grandmother. Her granddaughter is seen above in modern clothing worn by her generation, made in China no doubt. They did want to show how the reboso is worn and I don’t doubt that the granddaughter also has her own reboso. Her blouse is interesting since it is made of three different embroidery patterns. Too bad I didn’t notice that until I looked closer at the picture. If I were to speculate it could be pieces of three different blouses that they save and made this blouse.
