San Miguel Tzinacapan is a large Nahua town located right next to Cuetzalan. There are many women here that continue to wear traditional dress including embroidered blouses, backstrap woven belts and quechquemitls.

In this series of photos there is the alter found in most homes and close up of the loom used to weave the quechquemitls. Juana’s kitchen and a close-up of Juana weaving. On closer inspection there are over six different patterns woven into the quechquemitl. I also show a close up of the sleeve on the blouse
