Acuautla is a small hamlet where a large number of women contunirue to use traditional embroidered blouses and a solid colored skirt with a slight ruffle on the bottom and a distinctive lace accent .

On the third trip I was able to gather a large sample of different embroideries used on the blouses and on the commercial products. The village is located on a rough road which leads out of Huehuetla through San Antonio el Grande. Otomi is the language of daily usage and many women do not speak Spanish.
