San Pablito is an Indigenous Otomi village located on in the state of Puebla. There are a number of other related villages however they are across the state line in Hidalgo. These villages all speak the same dialect of Otomi.

San Pablito is one of the few remaining towns here Amate paper is made, this paper is used by the Nahua peoples of the Rio balsas region of the State of Guerrero to paint on.

The towns textile tradition is very strong and most women there wear the traditional blouse and the skirt, although this trip there seemed to be a number of women opting for a black style skirt. The Quechquemitl or cape like garment is still worn; there is the day to day cape and the dress cape. Some women wear the hand woven and embroidered cape daily while other wear a lace style quechquemitl.
