The Triques live in the western part of the State of Oaxaca, near the villages of de San Andrés Chicahuaxtla and Santo Domingo del Estado,

A view of the area surrounding Intunyoso. The dirt road to get in was in good shape and it took around 40 minutes to get there. The town had signs of progress and had a medical clinic.

The town is spread out compared to Copala.
