This mother and daughters are wearing the tunic style huipil worn here in Itunyoso with a blue or black wrap skirt. Note the wide bands on grandmas huipil.

After roaming around the village looking for someone to talk to me about their weavings and huipils , this woman was encouraged by the doctor to take me to the festival and help me get the photos that are in this gallery.

This is a great close up of the huipil from Itunyoso, after visiting the region, the huipil I thought was from this village was really from Santa Domingo.

The town was having a festival and these women were the family of the mayordomo.
